Please note, "Family Times" does not usually compensate authors for published articles. The majority of authors who are either in our print newspaper or here online have submitted their articles without a fee, but are seeking to bring attention to their product or service. If you are seeking monetary reimbursement, the average fee paid is $20. should we agree to reimbursement and if we accept your article for publication.

Submission Guidelines
1. Your article can be any length but 1000 - 1500 words is a typical size .

2. Paste your article in your email message (preferred method), or attach a Plain Text, RTF, or Word document.

3 Include a brief biography and short byline that will go at the end of the article. The byline replaces traditional monetary compensation, and is intended to promote the author's product or service. Please include an email address or website address in your byline, and a physical address and telephone number (if desired) so the reader can learn more about the author's product or service.

4. Please include the following statement in your email message, and include your name where it says "[your name]."

I, [your name], give Home Educator's Family Times, Inc. permission to publish this article (or articles) in the Home Educator's Family Times newspaper and on the Home Educator's Family Times website (or any website directly related to it). I offer this article free-of-charge, and understand that I will not get compensated if this article is published, unless other arrangements have been made in writing prior to publication.
